Project Overview

Sunshine Marine Medical Centre is a medical centre in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, specialising in marine medical assessments for seafarers and maritime professionals. We developed a full-stack web application that includes a public-facing website and a secure management system for handling seafarer registrations, medical examinations, reports, and billing.

The system streamlines the entire workflow from registration to medical certificate generation and invoice management, while the public site informs visitors about the centre, its services, doctors, and contact details.

Public Website

• Home: Hero section, welcome message, and feature highlights (e.g. modern facility, expert doctors, marine specialists)
• About: Information about the centre and its mission
• Services: General medicine, marine medical assessment, health checkups, medical certificates, preventive healthcare, diagnostic services
• Doctors: Profiles of the medical team
• Contact: Address, phone, chief doctor details, and consultation hours (visitors contact by phone or visit)

Management System (High-Level)

A secure backend supports the centre’s operations:

• Seafarer registration: Multi-step workflow covering personal details, medical history, examinations, vision and hearing tests, systemic examination, investigations, and final certificate
• Medical reports: Structured capture of medical history, examinations, and various investigation results
• Medical certificates: Generation of fit/unfit certificates and support for maritime standards
• Vaccination records: Vaccination tracking and certificate generation
• PDF generation: Medical certificates and multiple report types as downloadable PDFs
• Invoicing & payments: Invoice creation per registration, payment recording, and payment receipts
